Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Slover Digital ("we", "us") handles information in the Drunkle Pat app for iPhone and Apple Watch. The short version: Drunkle Pat collects no personal data, requires no account, and we have no servers. The only time anything leaves your phone is when you turn on Party mode, and then it goes straight to the phones next to you, never to us.

Information we collect

None. Drunkle Pat has no accounts, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, and no third party tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. The only information we ever receive is an email you choose to send us (see Reports and email below).

Information stored on your device

Everything the app remembers stays on your device and never leaves it:

Your buddy's look and name, your chosen venue, tolerance and soundtrack settings.
If you use My Music, which songs you picked, so they play again next time.
That you have seen the Party mode notice.
The current session state (how far along your buddy is). This resets over time and can be cleared any time from Settings.

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

Party mode

Party mode is optional and stays off until you turn it on. When it is on, your phone connects directly to nearby phones that also have Party on, using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Nothing passes through a server (we do not have one), and nothing is kept after the session ends.

While Party is on, the phones connected to yours can see:

Your buddy's look: body, hair, outfit, hat, accessories and drink.
Your buddy's name.
Your venue, how far into the night your buddy is, and what your buddy is doing.
Any preset lines or emojis you send.

Your phone shows up to others under a random label, like "Pat-1A2B3C4D", that changes every time you open the app. Your device name, contacts, location and everything else stay on your phone. Buddy names are checked for offensive words on your phone before they go out, and again on the phone that receives them. Buddies you hide are remembered only on your phone, and only until you close the app.

The first time you use Party, iOS asks for permission to find devices on your local network. You can change this any time in Settings, Drunkle Pat, Local Network.

Device features

Motion. The app reads the phone's tilt (and wrist motion on Apple Watch) to notice a sipping gesture. This is processed entirely on the device in real time and is never recorded or transmitted.
Proximity sensor. Used only to tell that the phone is near your face during a sip. Never recorded or transmitted.
Bluetooth and local network. Used for the optional Cheers feature, to detect a nearby friend's phone for a moment when you bump them, and for Party mode as described above. Cheers exchanges no identities, contacts or data and stores nothing.
Music library. Used only if you choose My Music as the soundtrack. With your permission, the app plays the songs you pick from your phone's Music library through Apple's music player. Your library is read on the phone and never leaves it. You can turn off access any time in Settings, Drunkle Pat, Media & Apple Music.

Apple Watch

If you use the watch app, sip counts and your buddy's look sync between your own watch and your own phone using Apple's WatchConnectivity. This stays within your devices and does not pass through our servers. We do not have servers.

Purchases

In app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchase receipts are managed by Apple's StoreKit on your device.

Reports and email

Tapping Report in Party mode opens an email to [email protected], filled in with the other buddy's name and last line. Nothing is sent unless you send that email yourself. If you email us, for a report or for support, we receive your email address and what you wrote. We use them only to review the report or answer you, and we never sell or share them.

Children

Drunkle Pat is intended for people of legal drinking age and is rated accordingly. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change ships.
